We don't know if it will be CHILLY Thursday night ...

... but we DO know there will be CHILI Thursday night at Your College ...

Midland College, in partnership with the Midland Chamber of Commerce, invites you, your family and your friends to enjoy a Holiday Evening filled with art and live music, sparkling lights, baked goodies and hot chocolate ... and visits with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus! It all takes place Thursday evening, December 5, in the Allison Fine Arts Building.

Among the events taking place that evening will be the annual MC Students In Philanthropy Frito Pie Supper Fundraiser, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Allison Fine Arts Building. Cost is just $5 per bowl, with all proceeds going to non-profit agencies through SIP grants.

But, wait! ... You also get ...

Deer corn ... or new shoes? Either could possibly be yours if you purchase a $1 raffle ticket from Midland College Students in Philanthropy.

Prizes available ...

Gift Card Tree (worth a minimum of $100)
5 Bags of Deer Corn
Gift Cards from Kohls and Cinergy
Christmas and Lottery Ticket Wreaths
Gift Baskets

Tickets cost $1 and can be purchased in room 244 in the SSC. Drawing will occur at Holiday Evening (you do not need to be present to win - we will call and deliver to offices prizes).

The Midland College Students In Philanthropy Club (SIP) is an in-depth leadership training program which provides student members the opportunity to improve the quality of life in their community. Students learn about the importance of philanthropy and the role of nonprofit organizations in the community. Through the fundraising and grant-making process, students not only make needed contributions to nonprofit organizations, but also gain leadership and stewardship training through a structured program designed to educate, support and promote philanthropic leadership in the community.
