TONIGHT at Chap Center ... a night of caring, competing and celebrating

Lady Chap Breast Cancer Awareness Night

Tonight, the Midland College Lady Chap Volleyball team will observe Breast Cancer Awareness Night as they take on Odessa College. We ask that everyone in attendance, please wear pink to commemorate the evening.

Tonight's activities begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. and will include a group photo, including the Lady Chaps, the MC Cheerleaders and Lady Wranglers along with all the fans and spectators. In order to start the match on time, please be present (and in pink) by 6:35 p.m.

Then at the start of the match (approximately 7:00 p.m.) there will be a ceremonial first serve with a pink/white volleyball which will be autographed by both teams and donated to the Midland Chapter of the American Cancer Society for their fundraising activities this year.

The Midland College Chaparral Baseball team , fresh off consecutive NJCAA Division I Baseball Championship Tournament appearances (2013 and 2014), will receive their JUCO World Series rings during the intermission of tonight's match.

The intermission will take place between the second and third sets. There are 19 returning members of the baseball team as well as the members of the coaching staff and athletic trainer.

Admission for tonight's match is $3.00 for adults, and $1.00 for non-MC students and seniors. As always, there is no admission charged if you present your Midland College employee or student ID card.
