Another tournament, another win for Chap Golf

ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO - The MC golf team continued their winning ways in taking the team and individual medalist titles at the 2016 NMMI Invitational at Roswell, NM. The Chaps, considered one of the top five teams in the NJCAA, secured the team title by 17 strokes in the one day, 36 hole event (par 72, 6652 yards) held at the New Mexico Military Institute Course.

The Chaps recorded teams scores of 283-279--562 (-14) for the title, followed by Garden City CC (KS) and New Mexico JC who shot 579 and 585 respectively.

Midland's Thomas Bailey, playing as an individual, shot scores of 67-72--139 (-5) to take the individual title by one stroke over Colorado School of Mining Technology's, George Markham (also an individual competitior).
