Some serious basketball heading this way, November 17-19 ...

If you're in the mood for some serious juco women's basketball action, then the 2016 edition of the Midland College Women's National Invitational Tournament may have just what you're looking for. This year’s tournament features one of the strongest fields we’ve ever had, with six teams currently ranked in the NJCAA top 25.

They are #2 Trinity Valley CC, #6 Salt Lake CC, #8 College of Southern Idaho, #11 Midland College, #13 Eastern Arizona and #25 Iowa Western CC. Rounding-out the field for this year's tournament are Odessa College and Arizona Western CC.

The competition will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, November 17, with Iowa Western vs. Salt Lake. This will be followed that day by Trinity Valley vs. Arizona Western at 3:00 p.m., Odessa College vs Eastern Arizona at 5:00 p.m. and Midland College vs Southern Idaho at 7:00 p.m. All games will take place in the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center, on the MC main campus.

Admission (Day Pass, Four Games Per Day): $8.00 Adults, $5.00 Non-Midland College Students and Senior Citizens, FREE for MC Students/Employees with current school ID.

  4. Hello, I was watching the women's basketball game and it went off with a message saying that the stream has been interrupted. Is there a way for you guys to check to see if it will be reconnected while the 3:00 game is still on? I would love to continue to watch.
