MIDLAND, TEXAS - It’s not a do-or-die situation yet, but there’s no doubt that the Midland College men's basketball team needs to win some games over the next few weeks.

At 12-8 overall and 3-3 in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference, the Chaparrals are sitting in the middle of the league’s pack. And with six teams legitimately in the mix for four postseason spots, head coach Jordan Dreiling and the Chaparrals know they can’t afford any more home losses.

Tonight, the Chaparrals look to defend the home court against rival and No. 17 Odessa College (16-3, 5-1) at Chaparral Center ...
