Spring Break at MCPL

It's time for a week away from school, and the library has plenty of family-friendly programs planned. The Centennial and Downtown libraries are open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Drop-in Art Camp for Children

Enjoy hands on activities? Leave the planning to us. Get messy with your children, and explore different styles of art each day during Spring Break. This is a come-and-go program, and no registration is required. Monday, March 13th through Friday, March 17th from 12pm-3pm at the Centennial Library.

Teen Writing Club

Did you know the library just started this monthly group? Teens who are interested in exploring and developing their voice are encouraged to join. The club's first meeting is Friday March 17, 2:30 - 4:00 at the Centennial Library.

Screen Printing Studio

The Rea Charitable Trust Screen Printing Studio is open for one more week. Bring a t-shirt, pillow case, or use library provided construction paper to create your own personal screen printing. This activity is great for adults and teenagers. 4:30 - 6:30 March 13 through 18 on the 2nd floor at the Downtown Library. See Circulation Desk staff for assistance.

Saturday Film Screening

Each Saturday features a different family friendly movie screened at the Centennial and Downtown libraries at 2:00pm. Complimentary popcorn is served each week. This Saturday, March 11 the Centennial Library will show Moana, and the Downtown Library will show Trolls.
